Yes. You can pick up your rental equipment after 4 PM the day before your first ski day at no extra charge. This gives you a head start in the morning so you can hit the mountain as soon as the lifts open.
We do. Our rental fleet includes beginner, intermediate, and performance-level skis and snowboards. Whether it’s your first time on snow or you’re an expert chasing powder, our team will help you choose the perfect setup.
Virgin Islands Ski Rentals is located at 842 N Summit Blvd, Silverthorne, CO 80498, right off I-70 Exit 205. We’re in the heart of Summit County — easy to reach from Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, and Breckenridge.
Every ski package includes poles, boots, and skis. Every snowboard package includes boots and snowboards. Helmet rentals are an additional cost, but we highly recommend them for every customer. You can also rent these items individually if you already have your own skis or board.
Take Exit 205 toward Silverthorne/Dillon. Turn north onto Highway 9 (N Summit Blvd) — our shop is just a few minutes up the road on the right, next to popular restaurants and coffee shops like Blue Moon Bakery. Free parking is available right in front.

We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly, and you no longer need a reservation for winter sports equipment. We require a deposit on the day you reserve the gear, but we are happy to cancel your reservation and refund the deposit if we are notified in advance. Call us at least 48 hours prior to your reservation to have your deposit refunded. We can still cancel the reservation within 48 hours of pickup, but we will not be able to refund your deposit without advance notice.
If you are taking a ski lesson that starts in the morning or want to be on the lifts when they start turning, we recommend you come and pick up your equipment at least the night before. Mornings are our biggest rush with everyone trying to pick up their equipment right before the lifts start turning. If you have more time in the morning, come in at 10 AM or after and the morning rush should be over.
Yes, you can pick up your equipment anytime after 3 PM and not be charged for the day, although we recommend if you can, wait until after 5 PM when the rush of returns is over.
Any damage that occurs to the equipment will be covered. Loss or theft is not covered.
When your reservation has ended, simply stop by our store to return your rental equipment. We will examine the rental equipment to ensure it is still in good condition and sanitize it before renting it out to someone else.
